Trailer for Hannibal, Season 2
The new trailer for the 2nd season of Hannibal is up! Warning: as it is a trailer for Hannibal expect lots of disturbing imagery.

It looks like Season 2 will end with Hannibal Lecter finally getting unmasked if that fight with Jack Crawford tells us anything and if the show is following Bryan Fuller's five season plan.

I am looking forward to this season of Hannibal like never before for any show. When I discovered The Dresden Files, the season was already over, I participated with the wishful thinking it could get renewed, but it was over. I was later invested with Torchwood and Doctor Who but only for Ten, when he regenerated I stopped watching. I liked Being Human. But this insane anticipation I have for Hannibal I had never before. I am way to invested. :S And it looks like we will be yelling at the screen a lot like I did in season one. I seriously hope they plan a five season course. :)

I thought I was at normal levels of fan anticipation for this show but after that trailer, I am RIDICULOUSLY excited. That fight sequence! Knife through the cutting board! Body slamming of the door! I love it when you see Hannibal in action. If anything because Mads Mikkelsen manages to look both brutal and graceful.

I remember that on tumblr someone said 'please dont hurt my baby (my baby is a cannibalistic serial killer)', the time Hannibal had the fight with the violin string maker, and that really sums up my feelings for Hannibal. I see just how wrong it is and I see that fight, and the food and all is so beautiful and at the same time I root for Will and that he gets Hannibal exposed, I am rooting for Hannibal. And I will be conflicted when he finnaly gets caught. This show is making strange things to my morals.

This show is giving me identity crisis. I don't know what I want. Every time I saw Hannibal messing with Will's mind, I was all, "Oh no! Poor Will! Hannibal, you are a bastard. Keep doing what you're doing."

As a person, I side with Will and the FBI team. As a viewer, I side with Hannibal because I want good, interesting television and when Hannibal messes with Will and is a Murder Wizard, it's good television.

Exactly I don't know anymore! I stayed away from tumblr and all because I cant even be 'team Hannibal' or 'team Will'...because I want them both? In their perfectly horribly dysfunctional relationship? :S I want Will to finally get some hugs and people tell him he is right about Hannibal. At the same time I want Hannibal to keep on giving perfect dinners and having the most awkward therapist sessions with his own patients and with his own therapist. I want Hannibal on the run, because I want to roll aroung laughing for hours if he has to eat burger king while on the lam. But then I want him to escape. I ant the freak show the trial would be. I am way too invested in the Murder Wizard!

Oh, he'd shank and eat the person working at Burger King. Once he's on the lam he'll totally go YOLO and kill and eat anyone he likes.

It's so terrible that I kind of want to see that.

You know I was a somewhat moral person when I watched The Dresden Files. I felt sorry for Bob, while very aware of his crimes as Hrothbert. I thought myself as a person who had a ethical structure even while watching TV shows. :S Now I want Hannibal having dinner parties, 'having Jack Crawford's wife over for dinner', bringing dinner to HIS OWN THERAPIST (who by the way in my headcanon is still in his own mind). And yes I want Hannibal on the run having to get by with people who eats at burger king. The show has shot to hell my ethics.

And there is the, I hope, still sane part of me that sees in the trailer he is unwrapping a foot and thinks: what is he going to cook with that? I am no high cuisine cook, but a foot? :S
