Meme (Harry Pottery!)
Taken from awanderingbard:

Ask me for any character I write or have written (OCs included) and I will tell you, if they existed in the Harry Potter universe:

1. Sorting Hat: what house would they be sorted into?
2. Expecto Patronum: what form would their patronus take?
3. Riddikulus:: what form would their boggart (read: their deepest fear) take?
4. The Mirror of Erised: what would it show of their heart's desires when they looked in it?

How fun is that?

Hmmm.... because I want to start with a similar magic theme, (and you know they share the same first name) how about Harry Dresden?

Otherwise, how about Ianto Jones, or Sherlock?

Is that too many choices? lol

Not too many choices at all! I'll do all three!

Harry Dresden

1. Gryffindor - with Harry's penchant for helping people and throwing himself into danger with little sense of self-preservation, he'd totally end up in this house.

2. A lynx.

3. An image of himself having murdered those closest to him in a fit of rage.

4. Family dinner with his parents.

Ianto Jones

1. Gryffindor - he HAS helped save the world on multiple occasions.

2. A pteranodon

3. The Cybermen

4. Jack Harkness - after listening to the last radio play, I settled on this because until the very end all Ianto seemed to want was Jack and all that he represented.

Sherlock

1. Slytherin

2. An osprey

3. Himself as an old man having lost his faculties.

4. He would see Moriarty and John side by side.

--I don't recall if you've actually written him, but - Loki~! (either Marvel or the original deal, your choice) (Sorting hat is an easy call but I'm curious about the others...)

I modeled my Trickster character after the original Loki so he totally counts!

Loki - original Norse Myths

1. Slytherin

2. A Red fox

3. A giant serpent hanging over him - this fear makes it a bitch to hang out in the Slytherin house area where serpents are the decor of choice.

4. The Mirror of Erised doesn't work for him as it can't settle on one image.

*snrrrrk* #3 would be too expected except for the Slytherin problem that makes it awesome! XDXDXDXD
The Writer They Call Tay: SHERLOCK: Watson's cute noseawanderingbard on May 11th, 2012 12:29 pm (UTC)
John Watson?

John Watson

I don't know why but the last answers insisted on being all mysterious and portentous.

1. Gryffindor - it seems likely given his general bravery as a soldier and as someone who can share a flat with Sherlock without losing his sanity.

2. Hokkaido Wolf - this particular species has been extinct since 1889, two years after the publication of A Study in Scarlet. I sort of felt like it was fitting.

3. A permanently broken clock.

4. Dinner with his parents, Harry, Sherlock and Mrs. Hudson.
