Meme (For Friday Night)
I may have had a slight anxiety/panic moment while working on my dissertation earlier today. So I did what every fandom-loving person does when anxious: I looked up memes. Anyway, here's one I found on Tumblr.

Toss me some numbers and a character (OCs welcome) and I'll answer the questions. Multiple characters welcome as well:

1. What is one thing others might find intolerable about them?
2. Do they have any annoying quirks? If so, what are they?
3. Name one or more of their bad habits.
4. Any addictions? (Food, sex, drugs/alcohol, shopping, power/control, etc.)
5. What is one thing they do that can negatively affect their relationship with friends?
6. Their romantic relationships?
7. What is the biggest mistake they’ve ever made?
8. What mistake(s) do they continue to make/have not learned from?
9. Name some of their major physical shortcomings.
10. Some of their emotional shortcomings?
11. What are their intellectual shortcomings?
12. At least one thing that they tend to overreact to.
13. In what ways might they be overly negative and/or pessimistic?
14. Is there anything they are too optimistic about?
15. How might they be ignorant or prejudiced?
16. Do they have any behaviors and/or beliefs that cannot be adequately justified?
17. When would they be too judgmental of someone or something?
18. Are they ever a pushover about something? If so, how?
19. Is there anything they refuse to budge on? What are they stubborn about?
20. What is a self-inflicted misery of theirs? (i.e. something they perpetuate themselves)

5, 12, and 16 for Steve and Issie? And/or 9, 14, and 18 for Holmes Brother Q.

Also: I'm sorry for panic/anixety. I am very empthetic to this. I gives hugs. *huggles* Also, this is the most relaxing song ever, according to scientists. Also: here is Tom Hiddleston reading a book while wearing a flower crown.

Thanks for the relaxation tools! I think I just got more frustrated about everything that then tumbled into anxiety about how I was ever going to get anything done. But it's better now.

Steve and Issie

5. What is one thing they do that can negatively affect their relationship with friends?

Steve and Issie can get a little lost in their heads, particularly when they have to deal with their own emotional problems. They mainly stick to talking to each other or taking on way more responsibilities than they need to without asking for for help or talking to others. Friends who know them well have to work a little overtime to draw them out. Friends who are more acquaintances wonder if they've done something to disappoint them.

12. At least one thing that they tend to overreact to.

Steve and Issie cannot let bullies get away with the crap they pull, no matter how small the offense. They will confront them about it.

16. Do they have any behaviors and/or beliefs that cannot be adequately justified?

It isn't much of an issue now, but related to the other question, even when Steve and Issie were smaller they would throw themselves into fights when clearly there was no chance in hell they would ever win. But they never learned when to stay down as Bucky and Shess often sighed, "Every damn time..."

Holmes Brother Q

9. Name some of their major physical shortcomings.

Nothing terribly major other than nearsightedness and a general desire to not engage in any kind of physical exertion/activity.

14. Is there anything they are too optimistic about?

When Q was a child, he was always optimistic about his survival odds when playing with Sherlock. Good thing he was usually right.

18. Are they ever a pushover about something? If so, how?

As much as Q hates to admit it and would probably do something drastic to anyone's online presence should they verbalize it, but he does tend to do most if not all requests asked of him by his brothers. He's justified it's easier and saves time to just acquiesce to their demands rather than argue. It has nothing to do with being the youngest and having problems saying no to older siblings.

Oh yeah, I hear that. I got that way around Christmas this year, when it was basically up to me to get everything together. It was just like 'I have so much to do that I can't do anything'.

I'm glad you feel better, and I have faith in you!

Friends who are more acquaintances wonder if they've done something to disappoint them.

I can totally see Steve coming off as aloof when he's worried about something. Especially now, when he's a legend, people must just think he's above them.

And aww, righteous indignation man and his puppy!

It has nothing to do with being the youngest and having problems saying no to older siblings.

Of course it doesn't, sweetheart.

These are great answers! Thank you!

I think Steve in the modern world has only about two friends who know him well enough to know he's just being sad and withdrawn rather than aloof and judgmental. Well, maybe about four friends after the Avengers and Cap 2.
