A Random Hiddleston Post
Tom Hiddleston does some pretty solid celebrity impressions but I think his best is Chris Evans. The hilarity seems tripled by the fact that unlike Christopher Walken or Alan Rickman, Chris Evans doesn't have an immediately distinguishable voice but whenever Hiddleston impersonates him, it sounds so obvious.

A sampling of the various impersonations, (Evans included) HERE.

I quite like his Owen Wilson, myself. But I love how he commits to the facial quirks while he's doing it, not just the voices. Owen Wilson's vaguely blank look, and Chris Evans' nose squinch.

He's said that Chris Hemsworth does a very good impression of him, which I would love to see.

P.S Loki fic's first draft is complete.

I searched for this but youTube gave me this video instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4fCeupJmC8

So adorable! That kid!!

EEEE! British accents made children 500% cuter, I swear.

I also love when kids address the actors as their characters, and the actors go with it. Tom has like two modes of 'totally not breaking character', and then just being Tom Hiddleston.

The story attached to the photo of Hiddleston with the kid on his shoulders is so sweet. I love it when actors go with the kids on being their characters so as not to break the illusion. Granted, Loki would never allow some puny mortal child to sit on him but hey.

I wish we could have seen the kid who asked the question about Thor and Loki being brothers in real life. His costume was probably adorable.

Maybe as a campaign photo for running for Total Ruler of Your Planet ("Vote for me, because there is literally no other option!"). But certainly never one with a Captain America shield. I really love Chris Evans' mum in that story, where she was all 'come and be a hero now, son'.

His costume was probably adorable.

We had a Thor here at Hallowe'en. He was very cute. We also had a little girl Ledger!Joker, which was vaguely disturbing, but she was owning it.

I just heard that in my head in Tom Hiddleston's Loki voice and it was hilarious!

All tales involving Chris Evans' mother are amazing. Chris Evans and his brother Scott talking about how their mother ruled with an iron fist when they were kids is hilarious.

We also had a little girl Ledger!Joker, which was vaguely disturbing, but she was owning it.

I love this little girl already. She's combined adorable with disturbing which is my favorite combo.

Should I have added an 'ehehehehehe', on there?

And he is a very nice boy as a result, I will point out.

It was the second year in a row that she came, so I like to think this is basically an everyday outfit for her.

No, it was okay since Loki would never giggle. TH might in private as he recalls that line in his downtime but never when he's actually portraying Loki.

And he is a very nice boy as a result, I will point out.

Very true.

Brilliant Husband asked me, as we watched the Owen Wilson bit, "What's he saying?"
And I said, "I think it's Nietzsche!"
I don't know whether to be mortified that those were actually Loki's lines, or impressed with the writers for making Loki sound like Nietzsche. (I'm not sure exactly how Nietzsche-like those lines were. It's the end of term! I have to grade, but I can't think!)
