"Favorite woolly jumper!"
Remember that episode of Graham Norton when Mark Wahlberg got really drunk and inappropriate? Well, after that you'd think having drunk guests would always be a bad thing. But a recent episode of Graham Norton that had Matt Damon, Bill Murray, and Hugh Bonneville proved that if you have the right people with the right amount of alcohol, it can kind of be amazing.

The entire episode is absolutely golden but below is the clip where everything hilariously escalated:

Aww, they're rather adorable! Hugh Bonneville is extra cuddly while slightly pissed. And in his woolly jumper.

I never got all the way through that Mark Wahlberg episode. Far too much second-hand embarrassment for me. But, you'd think, if you were a smart person, and going on television, you or someone in charge of you, would consider how much you can safely drink before you get to be an asshole or stupid. I can see having a drink while you're being interviewed, but some people clearly have been drinking before they get there.

I think the logical conclusion here is that Mark Wahlberg is not a smart person. Actually, his behavior is rather in line with everything else I've heard about him so it was kind of a surprise but not that much of a surprise.

I love how Matt Damon and Bill Murray cannot get over 'woolly jumper.' It's a Britishism that I've heard countless times but hearing Hugh Bonneville say it is somehow extra funny and adorable.

Yeah, that's fair enough. I think Mickey Rourke was kind of an ass, too (I haven't seen it, but I know Graham apologized to Jessica Biel the next time she was on the show), but that's not out of character for him either. Hayden Pattienere seemed a bit lit to me, too, but she came across as more pleasantly out of it than acting like an arse.

My mum walked through the room during the Hounds of Baskerville commentary, and got a real kick out of Sue Vertue's use of 'dodgy Christmas jumper'. I'm like you--I've heard it so many times that it's normal, but maybe it's especially silly to newbies.
