Meme (Original Characters Again)
Pick one or more OC you've written and answer the following questions.

I chose my two most obscure OCs for the hell of it: Aidan Bellamy and Charlotte Barquentine

Aidan Bellamy

1. Where has this OC made appearances in your fics?
Aidan has appeared in "In All Its Glory", "Cast the First Stone" and "Forewarned is Forearmed." These stories starred two of my OCs set in the Dresden Files universe.

2. Who is this OC?
Aidan is the younger brother of another OC, Davis Bellamy. Like Davis, he also inherited the power of foresight from their father which none of the Bellamy men can really control. Unlike Davis, however, Aidan embraces his abilities and works to hone and interpret his visions rather than suppress them artificially the way Davis has chosen. He left home not too long after their mother relocated the family from Ireland to England. While his older brother tends to be obedient, mild-mannered, generally shy, and kind, Aidan is boisterous, disrespectful and aggressive in just about every area of his life and often cruel. Aidan can also be extremely charming, a quality he uses to his advantage.

3. What does this OC love most in this world?
Himself and his cause. At least now. In the past, Aidan had some affection for his brother but that rapidly diminished as time went on and they took very different paths.

4. What does this OC hate most in this world?
The wardens and the wizardly elite.

5. How did you come up with this OC?
Aidan came into being largely through me trying to give Davis a back story. Originally, I intended Davis to have a pretty normal, happy childhood to counteract the the messed up childhood I gave Gordon Pearce. But then I came to my senses and went with moar angst because that is what I do best. So, I gave Davis the wizardly equivalent of an inherited mental disorder and an incredibly troubled and troublesome brother. Aidan's general character was partly inspired by two characters played by two different actors who happened to both be called Aidan, hence the name.

Charlotte Barquentine

1. Where has this OC made appearances in your fics?
Charlotte appeared in my multi-chapter Dresden Files fic, Somnambulist.

2. Who is this OC?
Charlotte originally hails from England. She's been married 5 times (twice widowed, thrice divorced), her last husband having been the owner of the Fallen Books, the used bookstore where a lot of the story takes place. She's held jobs as an actress, journalist, and painter. She has a good head for investments, allowing her the financial freedom needed to do whatever she pleases, but is bad at truly committing herself to one person or one career.

3. What does this OC love most in this world?
Her memories.

4. What does this OC hate most in this world?
Boredom and property ownership.

5. How did you come up with this OC?
Charlotte was one of those characters I needed to have in order for Harry to find out information regarding the case he was working on. At the time, I also wanted to create a character who wasn't too heavy without being completely fluff. I'd been reading a lot of Agatha Christie novels at the time and liked the idea of a rich woman of the world who could do whatever she wanted, who might be considered untouchable and a muse to some and self-centered and cruel to others. I wanted Charlotte to be a fun character who was clearly a good person at heart, if a bit flighty.
